Associate Professor at the UCL Institute for Environmental Design & Engineering and Principal Research Fellow, UCL Energy Institute
I am an Associate Professor at the UCL Institute for Environmental Design & Engineering and Principal Research Fellow in the UCL Energy Institute. My research is focused on the interlinkages of energy & buildings, health & wellbeing, and climate change.
I am Co-Investigator in the UKRI-funded Energy Demand Research Centre. In this new centre, I conduct empirical research on inequalities related to energy and the built environment and lead efforts to map out the equity space and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
I am committed to promoting Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in academia; I served as departmental Director of EDI for two years, am member of the faculty EDI group and member of the EDRC EDI group. Additionally, I am an advocate for open science practices.
My educational background lies in Psychology and Neuroscience, where I obtained my PhD.
