That’s why OKRE helps develop trailblazing entertainment that tackles misleading perceptions and expands people’s understanding of the world.

OKRE: Opening Knowledge across Research and Entertainment

The OKRE Fund provides financial support to development-stage entertainment projects that bring together creative collaboration across different sectors.

• We fund projects that explore a huge variety important issues, such as women in STEM, LGBTQIA+ topics, environmental sustainability, mental health and international development.
• Whether it’s dramas, comedies or games, we are open to all types of fresh ideas that challenge perceptions.
• Our focus is to encourage cross-sector collaboration between researchers, lived experience experts and entertainment professionals to develop exciting yet meaningful content.
