Ruby Kuraishe is a Commissioning editor for BBC Entertainment with thirty years of production experience under her belt. In that time, she has worked on a wide range of entertainment projects and commissioned and exec’d a large raft of programming across the factual, comedy and entertainment spectrum from large competitive reality to topical satire, reality tv, studio show and live events. Developing new talent ( on and off screen) and fresh ideas is her passion and her recent projects include and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Versus the World, Charlotte in Sunderland, and Celebrity Mastermind. She’s currently busy with the upcoming Eurovision song contest and the seventh series of the hugely successful RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. An experienced commissioner, Ruby has overseen many BBC entertainment titles, including Have I Got News For You, The Ranganation, QI, Dragon’s Den, Shooting Stars and Mastermind.
