OKRE's Creative Cohort Labs provide funding and structured support for a selected cohort of experienced creative professionals to collaborate on a specific social, scientific or health-related challenge over a defined period. Informed by research and working alongside academic and lived-experience experts, participants apply creative collaboration to develop an existing project or idea while strengthening their professional practice. The Labs aim to embed creative collaboration as an ongoing method for creative development, equipping participants with the skills, relationships and insights to carry this approach into their future work. Shared resources and an engaged alumni network extend the impact, helping to champion OKRE’s approach across the creative industries.
Thriller Lab

The OKRE Thriller Lab was a funded three-month development programme for writers and producers. Thriller Lab reflects OKRE's approach to supporting ambitious storytelling by bringing creative talent into direct collaboration with researchers, charities and people with lived experience from the earliest stages of development. It supported writer / producer duos to create bold, gripping thrillers grounded in real-world science and expertise.
