Fatima has over 20 years’ experience in the television industry, managing broadcast, editorial and business teams across the public and private sector.
As the Managing Director of Naked Television from 2020 to 2023, she negotiated commissions for The Rap Game, The Apprentice, Railway Journeys, Escape to the Country, and Grand Designs. Prior to that, she worked as the Head of Specialist factual for Channel 4, responsible for Responsible for History, Science, Natural History, Arts and Adventure programming across a range of popular formats. She is now the Executive Chair of the Edinburgh TV Festival.
Fatima is a passionate supporter of new talent, working within the media, education, and charity sectors to inspire and enable the next generation. She is a regular public speaker on TV Industry panels on diversity and has a column in Broadcast - the premier TV Industry magazine.
