Anne Morrison
Creative Director of Factual Programmes, Nevision
Anne Morrison is Creative Director of Factual Programmes at Nevision, a London-based independent production company. She was formerly Chair of BAFTA, the second woman to be elected to the position in the organisation’s history. Until 2014 she was Director of the BBC Academy, the BBC’s centre for training, which she launched in 2009.
She ran factual programme departments for many years at the BBC, and was responsible for 1000 staff, and many award-winning programmes. In 2018 she was awarded an honorary doctorate by Nottingham Trent University for services to broadcasting and the arts. She is chair of Pearson College London, a member of the British Academy’s Communications and Engagement Committee, an executive coach and an international keynote speaker on issues such as diversity and talent development.
She recently executive produced The Missing Children about Ireland’s mother and baby institutions for ITV Current Affairs. In 2022, the film won an RTS Award and was nominated for a BAFTA TV Award.
