Misha is a queer Azeri-British filmmaker born and bred in the wet and windy wilds of working-class Devon. He’s a National Film and Television School Directing Fiction grad, where he attended on a Screenskills/AMD Scholarship. He’s won awards from the BFI Future Film Festival (Best Fiction Film), Encounters Film Festival/Fresh Flix (Emerging Talent) and Media Innovation Awards (Best Newcomer); while his grad film was nominated for Best Postgraduate drama at the RTS awards; as well as being mentioned in The Guardian as one of ‘Five to Watch’. Currently he works as a 2nd Unit director in HETV for Netflix, Apple+, Sky and Disney.
