Jocelyn Stevenson has worked in children’s television for over 40 years as a writer, creator, producer, executive producer. Her work is informed by the conviction that screen-based media can be a powerful influence that simultaneously educates, entertains, and inspires children.
Her credits include: Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, Charlie Chalk, Jim Henson’s Ghost of Faffner Hall, Jim Henson’s Animal Show with Stinky and Jake, Jim Henson’s Secret Life of Toys, Jim Henson’s Tale of the Bunny Picnic. Faeries (original animated mini-series), Mopatop’s Shop, The Hoobs, Bob the Builder, Thomas & Friends, Barney & Friends, Rubbadubbers, Pingu, What’s Your News?, Moshi Monsters: The Movie!, The Magic School Bus. Most recently, she is a Consulting Producer and Writer for Fraggle Rock Rock On! for the Henson Company and Apple TV.
In November 2015, Jocelyn was awarded the BAFTA Children’s Awards Special Award for contribution to children’s media.
Jocelyn is currently developing The Waterubas, a global, multi-platform, mixed-media initiative that combines watertight science with an adventure-soaked story to saturate the imaginations of 7-12 year olds around the world to inspire them to love and protect our planet’s water, the amazing substance that connects us all. It’s the story of Earth from water’s point of view. It’s goofiness in the service of truth.
