The 2025 OKRE Summit, ‘Be the Bigger Picture’, will focus on how entertainment fuelled by collaboration creates more authentic, impactful worlds on screen.

It will have a particular spotlight on stories developed in collaboration with lived experience or academic research.

The Summit will also showcase best practice ethical considerations of storytelling, including how inclusive practices off-screen are fuelling creativity on-screen.

For 2025, attendees can expect a day of insightful keynotes, dynamic panel discussions, and unparalleled networking opportunities with leading figures across the creative, research, and social impact sectors.

The OKRE Summit 2025 promises to be a vital forum for exploring the ethical and artistic challenges of modern storytelling, and a must for professionals with curious and creative mindsets.

Hosted by acclaimed TV journalist Mishal Husain, the hugely successful OKRE Summit 2024 consisted of a full day of vibrant panels and featured experts from a wide range of sectors and backgrounds, all brought together by the common goal of how best to drive positive change and social impact through media and entertainment.

Experimental Stories is a unique workshop series from OKRE, in collaboration with Wellcome and the BBC.

The first OKRE Summit took place in June 2022, bringing together people from across the entertainment and charity sectors to build cross-sector collaboration and champion entertainment content that makes a real difference in the world.

Providing creative provocation and a feast of fresh thinking, OKRE Development Rooms are designed for creators working across games, film, audio, social media and television.
